Enabling Transparency and Accountability

More than just words, part of our institutional commitment in launching the University Diversity Plan was to promote transparency and accountability for progress.

When we talk about progress, we are referring to a direction: forward.

Introducing the Progress Inventory

We aimed to build a dynamic, engaging tool to showcase progress across the university, encourage engagement, and promote greater awareness of the actions that have been undertaken to implement the diversity plan.

 

Capturing Ongoing Progress

Organizational units are encouraged to submit action items on an ongoing basis so that we can track, feature, and celebrate the great work happening across the institution in real time.

Although we capture action items continuously, the public inventory will be released every two years.  

Action items submitted from Fall 2023 to Summer 2025 will be featured in the 2025 Progress Inventory that will be released in Fall 2025 at the University-wide Diversity Plan Progress Summit.
