Rutgers Giving Days

March 20 to 21, 2024

Show Your Support

Each year, the Rutgers community comes together for Rutgers Giving Day. Rutgers Giving Days was held over multiple days, March 20–21, 2024, to give our supporters more flexibility and focus on pride, engagement, belonging, and giving. But you can still show your support for the Rutgers Inclusive Excellence Fund!

Why this program is important

The Office of University Equity and Inclusion is leading efforts to chart an inclusive path forward for Rutgers University. The objective is to pursue culture change that embraces diversity as a core institutional value and to live that commitment out in the university's organizational practices. The Inclusive Excellence fund supports change initiatives throughout the university that live out our commitment to embracing diversity as a core institutional value and serving our students, faculty, staff, and surrounding community.

The work of building an inclusive academy will take all of us. Your support to the Rutgers Inclusive Excellence Fund will help us as we work towards inclusion

What your donation makes possible

Philanthropy plays a key role in advancing our institutional diversity efforts. While we are making significant institutional investments in diversity to realize our vision of a more inclusive Rutgers, your gift to the Inclusive Excellence Fund expands our capacity to lead strategic university-wide efforts to advance diversity and inclusion, creating new initiatives to enhance faculty and staff diversity, student access and educational equity.

Funds raised will be used to resource the pursuit of inclusive excellence – a cohesive, coherent, and collaborative integration of diversity and inclusion into the shared pursuit of excellence – across Rutgers University. With a particular focus on advancing the university's strategic diversity priorities to: recruit, retain, and develop a diverse community, promote inclusive scholarship and teaching, define sustainable and substantive community engagement, build the capacity of leaders to create inclusive climates, and develop an institutional infrastructure to drive change.
