Who is The Gathering For?
Everyone! Rutgers is a very large place, and it is possible to work diligently at your job and feel disconnected from the larger whole.
By offering intentional community-building opportunities, we facilitate connections and promote the retention of faculty and staff. A community is not simply the result of coexisting in space. A community is formed and demonstrated by the intentionality with which we invest in and support one another.
The Gathering invites all faculty and staff across Rutgers to come together and cultivate community.
What is the Agenda?
There isn't one. The Gathering is not a typical event. It is a space to foster connection. Come for the opportunity to:
- Start conversations with people from across the university.
- Expand your professional network in a low-stakes way by playing networking bingo.
- Connect with administrators, faculty, and staff who share a commitment to ensuring Rutgers is a place where everyone can thrive.
