Diversity Plan Progress Inventory - Live Now

Dear Members of the Rutgers University Community,

Last summer, we launched the tracking progress initiative to foster transparency and accountability for progress toward the diversity plan’s ambitious goals. With your input, we aimed to capture both the breadth and depth of activity occurring across the university. 

I am delighted to announce that the Diversity Plan Progress Inventory is live! We received nearly 1000 action item submissions that reflect both the breadth and depth of activity occurring across the university within Chancellor-led and central administrative units. 

Take a few moments to check out the tool and explore the range of work that has been done. The portal is open for submissions for the 2023-2024 academic year and will close on July 15.

The submission window was short in the pilot year, open only from June to August. Our aim was not to capture everything but to capture enough to refine the process for items that were included in the progress inventory and build a dynamic, engaging tool to explore progress that promoted engagement and awareness. Please know we have reopened submissions for the pilot year (FY22-23) through April 30. If your unit is not represented, please take this opportunity to share your activities.
