I am the Vice President for Faculty Development and Diversity within University Equity and Inclusion, providing strategic leadership of the Faculty Diversity Collaborative, an institutional central strategy that integrates diversity and inclusion into the institutional pursuit of academic excellence. I led the development of Advance-Engage-Mentor for the Early Career and Racial Equity (ECARE) program, which offers tiered support to address the unique challenges, combat isolation, and mitigate against bias that can negatively shape the experiences of early career faculty of color in academia.

My interests include Emergency Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
