The Office of University Equity and Inclusion is proud to present the annual Education as Disruption Intensive on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, centered on the theme "Affirming Humanity: Building Bridges in Divided Times."

This year’s hybrid event will feature a keynote address from Kazu Haga, a nationally recognized trainer in nonviolence and restorative justice, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

In the afternoon, the inaugural cohort of Rutgers’ Bridging the Gap Fellows will facilitate Story Circles on each campus—creating space for open, empathetic dialogue across differences. Rooted in the belief that education can be a force for connection, Bridging the Gap empowers students, faculty, and staff with the skills to listen, understand, and engage across ideological and cultural divides.

Join us for a transformative day of learning, storytelling, and bridge-building as we cultivate the resilience and relationships necessary to foster inclusive communities.
