About
I have re-focused my career from private practice to public health and academics. I have been working diligently to design and implement novel programs at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine centered on improving oral health, especially in vulnerable populations. I strive to include pre- and post-doctoral students as much as possible with the goal of exposing them to the critical need for equitable delivery of primary care to underserved populations.
I recognize the power in engaging with people who offer diverse perspectives and insights. I am looking forward to the I-LEAD experience and am confident it will enhance my effectiveness as a faculty member at RSDM.
Current Work
I have been working on building a robust community outreach program at the dental school, focused on increasing access to care while simultaneously enhancing the educational experience of dental students and residents.
Most of my research involves issues related to dental public health, dental education, and climate change as it relates to the practice of dentistry.
