Dr. Forster Scott is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Rutgers University in the Department of Kinesiology and Health. She teaches courses in exercise and sport psychology, sociological issues in sport, gender issues in sport, fitness management, and the business of personal training. Her research and applied work delves into a range of topics to address health inequities, racial and gender disparities, educational programming and curriculum design, racial identity, and intersecting issues including socioeconomic status, disability, sexual orientation, mental and behavioral health. Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Forster Scott is actively involved in conducting workshops on healthy living, diversity, equity, and inclusion training, and athletic counseling.
Current Work
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Forster Scott actively engages in community programs focused on health education, disease prevention, and lifeskill development. She is dedicated to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to live healthier lives and achieve their full potential.
