About

Anita Siu is a Clinical Professor, the Vice Chair for Teaching and Learning, and Director of Faculty Mentoring at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She is a Neonatal/Pediatric Pharmacotherapy Specialist and practices at the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr. Siu completed two years of Pharmacy residency training, General Pediatrics and Neonatal/Pediatric Critical Care. She was also the first pharmacist inducted as a member to the Stuart D. Cook, M.D. Master Educators’ Guild at Rutgers University. In 2021, Dr. Siu was appointed and began her service to the Board of Directors for Board of Pharmacy Specialties and will be Chair in 2025. In 2023, Dr. Siu was elected to the American Academy of Pediatrics Section of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics

 

Current Work

Clinical Interests At the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, Dr. Siu has created her own clinical practice and is a liaison between the Department of Pharmacy and Pediatrics. Throughout the years, she has implemented therapeutic guidelines in neonates and pediatrics. Dr. Siu currently leads the Pediatric Pharmacotherapeutics Subcommittee and is a member in many other interdisciplinary committees.
