“Intersectionality and Women of Color in Academic Leadership” - April 26 at 12 pm virtually

About

As part of the Women in Leadership series, panelists will share their leadership journey, discuss strategies to mitigate challenges related to race and gender, and provide tools for women of color to advance into leadership.

Women of color often experience leadership roles quite differently from men and white women leaders. Using Crenshaw’s (1993) work on intersectionality as a framework, panelists will share their leadership journey, discuss strategies to mitigate challenges related to race and gender, and provide tools for women of color to advance into leadership.
