About

I am a teaching faculty at the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology, interested in inclusive pedagogy and evidence-based teaching practices focused on achieving learning outcomes.

Current Work

I teach two Experimental Biochemistry laboratory courses and the Principles of Biophysical Chemistry course. I mentor undergraduate researchers as part of a research-based education experience at the department. I also mentor aspiring scientists who participate in Project SUPER at Douglass Residential College, offering research opportunities for women early in their academic careers in STEM. Currently, I participate in the Classroom Inclusivity Series, the program offered by the Office of Teaching Evaluation and Assessment Research, which promotes inclusive scholarship and teaching, and in ongoing opportunities offered by the Teaching Excellence Network to support effective teaching practices.
