Lyra Stein is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Psychology at Rutgers University, renowned for her innovative teaching strategies and dedication to advancing undergraduate education. In 2024, Dr. Stein was awarded the Social Learning Innovator Award in Social Sciences, recognizing her groundbreaking efforts in fostering collaborative and active learning environments. She is also the recipient of the prestigious 2024-2025 Co-Intelligence Exploration Teaching Fellowship, further reflecting her commitment to excellence in pedagogy and educational transformation. In 2022, Dr. Stein was honored as a Rutgers Provost Teaching Fellow and participated in the Teaching Excellence Networks Course Transformation Summer Institute, where she refined her expertise in evidence-based instructional practices. Her contributions were further acknowledged with the 2021 Distinguished Contributions to Undergraduate Education Award, underscoring her long-standing impact on student success.
